Neighborhood Cultural Diversity

1. My neighborhood is a cultural diverse. My neighborhood has different cultural universals. For example, economy (food and business), environment (communities and resources), recreation (toys and holidays), and beliefs (traditions and religions). Each of this traits listed above, my neighborhood do them differently then others. In my neighborhood our culture and religions are different; my race is Hispanic and I am a catholic, while others are Christians. 2. No, my neighborhood is not ethnocentric. In my neighborhood, we are unity to a whole. We help each other, communicate, and have fun together. We tolerated each others race, culture, tradition, religions, etc. 3. If people of different cultures move into my neighborhood, my neighborhood we communicate, talk, and make them feel good to stay in this new neighborhood for them to ease their cultural tensions.

DOMA

The Defense of Marriage Act is a United States federal law signed into law by the President Bill Clinton on September 21, 1996, whereby the federal government defines marriage as legal union between one man and one woman. Under this law known as DOMA, no state mat required to recognize marriage a same sex relationship. The word "marriage" means a legal union between one man and one woman as husband and wife and the spouse refers only to a person of the opposite sex who is a husband or a wife. I believe that if a persons choices to be homosexual, he or she has the right to be so not only because its there choice but because that's there life and they can live it however they want to. There is nobody to judge you or choice who you want to be. Its your life and live it to your fullest. I believe homosexual should be legal.

Abortion

After reading the Anti-Abortion Billboard Yanked paper, and reading about the billboard by a Dallas pastor being taken down. I think was the best thing to do not only because it was wrong to hang but it hurt ed many African Americans. The billboard had a picture of a 6year girl and saying the "THE MOST DANGEROUS PLACE FOR AN AFRICAN AMERICAN IS THE WOMB." The message is tired to the fact that the abortion rate in the African American community is through the roof. I believe abortion is the wrongest thing a women can do to there world. I would never in world kill baby inside me. I child is a gift from Jesus and we need to learn to appreciate and love all our life. I would not have love for my mom to abort me when i was inside her because i wouldn't be here this moment. Giving a baby life is wonderful. I thank every mom for there wonderful achievement giving birth.
